Power faults and tripping circuits
If only part of the property has lost power, we investigate the affected circuit, connections and protective devices before recommending a repair. Switches and outlets
We repair and replace power points and switches, and assess new positions against the existing circuit, planned appliances and installation access. The quote lists fitting replacement separately from extra wiring or circuit changes.
Lighting problems

We can arrange RCD checks, smoke alarm maintenance and repairs or replacement of damaged fittings for managed properties. We confirm the devices, work and requested records. For strata properties, we also need the correct approval contact for work within a lot or on common property.

We check the affected installation and connected equipment before choosing a repair. Repeated tripping, a faulty power point and a lighting fault may need different tests. We explain the findings and any further checks needed. Do not open switchboards, remove covers or test fixed wiring yourself.
The checks and repairs cover the work agreed for that visit. Equipment working during the assessment does not rule out an intermittent fault. We explain any restrictions on use and the need for further investigation.

Is fault finding included in a repair price?
Investigation and repair can be separate stages. Our written quote identifies the assessment included and any repair or replacement that needs separate approval. If a fault is intermittent or further investigation is needed, we explain the findings and proposed next step.
Should I request a switchboard upgrade when power keeps tripping?
A recurring trip does not establish that an upgrade is needed. Request an assessment of the affected installation first. Replacement or additional circuit work should follow the findings and an agreed scope, not the symptom alone.

An electrical fault-finding visit investigates a reported problem. A planned installation quote starts with the fitting or outlet you want and the work needed at that location. Keep both tasks visible if you need an existing fault assessed as well as new equipment installed.

If the first assessment identifies further work or an intermittent fault needs more investigation, we explain the next scope and charges before you approve it.
